To South Sound HOG Members:
After a thorough evaluation and significant consideration, including discussions with the current Board Members of SSHOG, we have decided to discontinue the South Sound HOG Chapter effective September 30, 2017, accordingly all scheduled HOG related activities have been suspended indefinitely.
This decision was not taken lightly, however, the current state of South Sound HOG, unfortunately, does not meet our vision, expectation, and desire for bringing Harley-Davidson owners together who have enthusiasm for riding. We wish to thank the current Board Members and active riders for their work, effort, and commitment in supporting the vision this last year. This past summer they held weekly rides that left on Thursdays and/or Saturdays – with all riders welcomed, no boundaries.
For those active members who have a current membership who would like to receive a pro-rated refund of their dues returned please send an email to email@example.com with your request; otherwise, your benefits will continue until such time your current membership has expired. Please keep in mind your National HOG membership is separate from your SSHOG Membership.
The National and Regional HOG Managers support our decision as it is our hope to work with them in the future to possibly re-establish a Chapter with the primary focus on a cohesive riding group that is supportive of all members, new riders, and the sponsoring dealer.
We plan to continue to use the Shop and current Chapter database as a means to communicate future rides for current and past guests/members. This will be for informational purposes only and not considered a Chapter or Shop ride. Please let Kyler know at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to promote a ride that you have organized, but keep in mind you will not be covered under the National HOG Insurance umbrella policy.
We appreciate your support in our decision, if you have additional questions, you may reach out to either of us by phone, email or next time you’re in the shop. Keep the wind in your face and enjoy the ride………
Sincerely,Julio Valdenegro III and Joe S. DeckNorthwest Harley-Davidson, Owners
